📢 About Round 2: let’s go streaming!

Round 2 of the GoodBuilders Program is now live as a 3-month continuous funding round on Celo, designed for projects that are integrating G$ in meaningful ways.  Run by GoodDollar and Flow State, with support from **KarmaGAP,** **Celo Public Goods and SuperFluid** the round streams $70,000 USD + 50,000 CELO in G$ using GoodDollar’s native Superfluid capabilities.

To qualify, grantees must have a live or near live app and a clear plan to integarate with G$, keep building and delivering real value to users and the ecosystem. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Votes from mentors and GoodDollar users drive real-time funding flows.

Building, launching, and mentorship are supported throughout the round. Voter, donor, mentor, and grantee activity are also eligible for a share of 1M Superfluid SUP tokens streamed through August 21st.

🧐 How does it work?

Unlike traditional hackathons, the GoodBuilders Program isn’t just about a one-time submission; it’s about continuous improvement, shipping new features, and staying engaged. The more you participate, the more rewards you unlock over time!

✅ Whether you are starting a new app or you have an existing project, start building anytime, and ****integrate your app with GoodDollar (Read your options for integration here)

✅ If you are not building your own app, you can also participate by contributing to existing eligible projects and teams (Learn about our scoutgame campaign)

✅ Apply to the round once you have a working MVP (check eligibility criteria). Round 2 runs from July 7th to September 30th, and applications are already open. You can apply at any time during the round — but the earlier you join, the more rewards you can earn.

🧐 Getting started and how to apply

1. Register for updates

• Join our Discord to find teammates and stay updated with GoodBuilders program updates.
• General updates are also shared in our Telegram Builders channel and on GoodDollar’s X:

2. Build & Integrate with G$

• Explore ways to integrate with G$.
  • Check the eligibility criteria
  • Check the round rules
  • Share your own project ideas in the team-formation channel to attract teammates.
• Meet with mentors for guidance.

3. Submit & Compete for Rewards

• Once you have a working or nearly working MVP, apply on GoodDollar Flowstate Grant Round. Applications are open throughout the round, but the earlier you apply, the more rewards you can earn. You will be able to keep working, improving and launching during the round.
• To qualify, you must have a working MVP or very close to launching one and meet the eligibility criteria.
• Approved projects receive funding from the funding pool, based on votes from mentors and the community.
• If you participated in Season 1, update your KarmaGAP profile with what you’ve built so far. Make sure to log in using the same wallet address.
• If you're an existing project with a KarmaGAP page, include the link in your application.
• If you're new on Karma too, you’ll receive a KarmaGAP page after being approved. Update it with your goals, milestones, and metrics to track your progress.
• All grantees must keep their KarmaGAP page updated throughout the round.

4. During the Round

• Keep building, launching, and hitting milestones. The goal is to create useful integrations and reach real users, bringing value to the whole ecosystem :)
• Join the demo days (mandatory) and workshops
• Track your progress on KarmaGAP every few days.
• Every 2 weeks, a new voting epoch will open to allocate funding, engage with the community to support your project with its votes! </aside>
