❓ About this cause

ReCivitas is the one of the oldest crowd-funded Unconditional Basic income pilots in the world, and the largest in Brazil 🇧🇷. Beginning in 2008, the project has paid 50 reals/month to (about $10 USD) to ~100 local residents.

• Since January 2016, Recivitas launched the 'Lifetime Basic Income' project in Quatinga Velho, a project to model for future organizations.
• Following the success of their newly launched 'Basic Income Startup' intends to make these payments permanent.

The directors continue speaking in front of national congresses, universities and global forums advocating for a Universal Basic Income and experimental models, like Quatinga Velho.
